For Thomas, North Songs CPH

No city sounds

You wrote there are these opposite worlds that live inside her, she lives in city, but drawn towards nature. So I put her between the two, on the night she sleeps under the stars, looking up.

A woman lies in a sleeping bag seen from above, looking up. On her left a river, pine branches and wildflowers drawn in bright purple lines. On her right a city street grid in faint lines that breaks apart into dots.
One still, made for this page. The logo in the middle is only on the sample.

She is the only real thing. Real skin, real hair, real jacket. Everything around her is drawn in light on black, so it never tries to pass as real footage.

She belongs there. The only light on her face is the purple of the lines, and the same thin line runs around her. That's what stops her from looking pasted in.

Nature is winning. The river and the flowers on her left are bright and close. The city on her right is thin, far, and falling apart into dots before it reaches her.

Three colours only. Black, white, purple. Simple enough to hold across 5 or 10 songs and still look like one artist.

The same woman seen from the side, lying in a meadow and smiling up at a sky full of stars and line constellations. Pines, a river and a geyser drawn in purple outlines, a tiny faint city skyline far on the horizon.

The same night, from the side.

I wanted to check the style can carry a big Yellowstone landscape too. The city is still there, far right on the horizon, you almost have to look for it.

It's a first direction, not the answer. Darker, colder, more white, less purple, her face hidden, tell me what feels closer to the song and I'll take it from there.
